"The up the stairs air conditioning could not keep the upstairs cool. We were called by the publicize-conditioning contractor to ventilate the district. We added angular soffit vents, ShingleVent Deuce ridgepole ventilate, and The Edge Vent (roof-top intake). We positioned The Bound Vent more than halfway up the roof where the arcsecond-floor garret started. The architecture of the house did not allow for The Edge Vent to be installed at the eve of the roof. It had to be installed above the dormers on the advance of the house which is neighboring to the floor of the attic. The unseeable temperature readings are at 3 PM on 105°F good afternoon. " –Chris Arrington, vice president, Arrington Roofing Company, Inc.

Editor's Notation:"The attic temperature reading material of 114°F on a Clarence Shepard Day Jr. with exterior temps at 105°F is within the recommended summertime range for a properly performing garret ventilation system: inside 10-15° of the extraneous temperature; 20° max. The Edge Vent is designed to be placed at the eave of the roof or emotional up the roof 2-3 feet in situations where exposed rafter tail coat make the attic to begin aweigh the roof 3 feet or less. In this display case, Arrington Roofing has positioned The Edge Vent further up the roof and it's working. Such applications should be well-advised on a case-by-case basis and factor in the climate."

"This roof had several problems. There were multiple types of attic exhaust vents instead of evenhanded one exhaust vent system. Information technology had a gable louver, a box vent, a twist turbine and a roof-climb on power winnow. Making matters worse, the opening for the soffit venthole (uptake) was never excision which means it did not suffer any ingestion. We did a stand-alone tear remove and replacement of the roof deck, installed The Edge Vent (roof top intake) and ShingleVent II ridge vent (exhaust)." –Rich Rogge, Owner, Rogge Builders, INC.

Editor's Note:Mixing types of attic exhaust vents on the same roof above a common attic short-circuits the airflow (causes wasteful airflow) because one of the types of eat becomes the main source of intake airflow bypassing (short-circuiting) the actual intake vents. In addition, if the exhaust vents are suddenly acting as intake, they could be bringing in weather, which they are not designed to do. It's always Charles Herbert Best to accept one type of attic exhaust joint with the necessary ingestion breathing low on the roof operating theater in the soffit.

"We installed The Adjoin Vent to make up intake airflow for the ridge outlet (exhaust) that already existed in orderliness to springiness this roof proper attic respiration. There were no overhangs on this back incision of the service department roof. We remote the shingles, cutting the slot opening for the vent, installed water-protective tissue layer, and matched the shingles per the customer's quest. As piece of a full siding externalise for this theatre, we blocked off the gable end louvre so it would not short-circuit with the ridgepole vent and we installed fully vented soffit where there were overhangs." –Michael Scaperato, Proprietor, 3rd Coevals Home Improvements

Editor's Note:It is easier to install The Edge Release as part of a total roof replacement. This roof did not indigence replacing. It just needful intake air flow to run over the sap vents already in place for the long-term lifespan of the roof. "For this project we had to move The Edge Vent skyward the roof because it was framed in such a manner the soffits were completely blocked off from the attic. In unusual words, at that place was no channel for the air to enter through the soffit into the attic. We had to remove the entire roof, including the deck. We leveled the insulation and since the ceilings were cathedral we installed insulation baffles in all bay connected the back English of the plywood to create an air channel to the ridge vent. To particular date, we have had zero issues with this and the customer has referred us numerous multiplication since we were fit to think out of the box to solve the intake ventilation problem without re-doing the smooth soffit area." – Jake Gast, Possessor, Paragon Exteriors, LLC

Editor in chief's Notes: Information technology's fit to move The Edge Give vent up the roof away from its deliberate edge-of-roof position if the roof has open soffits (exposed balk tails) in which the territorial dominion itself actually begins upward the roof OR if the house construction/framing blocks intake airflow at the eave. For complete other applications, however, The Edge Vent is intended to be positioned at the very edge of the roof. If dome insulation is block the next airflow where The Bound Vent is supposed to be installed, Air Vent recommends addressing the insulation blockage spot not moving The Inch Vent.

"This externalise features ShingleVent II continuous ridge vent with The Edge Vent (roof-top at the eave) intake vents. Prat you take in them? Low profile, efficient ventilation will help to keep the attic temperature in check all year." – Mike Lunsford, Owner, Lunsford Construction, Inc.

Editor's Note: : The Clark Gable louver perceptible in the envision has been out of use from inwardly the attic to avoid possible snub-circuiting of the exhaust system vents (which can happen when 2 different types of attic exhaust vents are victimised along the same roof above a general attic).

A part of a full sidetrack project for this house, we blocked off the gable louver so it would not get around with the rooftree vent and we installed to the full vented soffit where there were overhangs
